About Dmitri Gruzdev
Born in Russia, Dmitri Gruzdev trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy from 1981 – 1989 studying under Sokolov. In 1988 won first prize at the first Vaganova Ballet competition.
He joined the Kirov Ballet Company in 1989 as a Soloist and has been a dancer for 25 years with Kirov Ballet and Principal Ballet Dancer with English National Ballet.
He has worked with world’s finest choreographers, directors and ballerinas, including Natalia Makarova, Glen Tetley, Tamara Rojo, Darcey Bussell and many more. Dmitri finished his Teaching Training Programme with the Royal Ballet School and is currently running his classes in London, UK.

In 2010 Dmitri created a piece for The Bath Festival, and in 2011 created and performed a piece for UNICEF charity gala at the Royal Albert Hall. In 2013 he created a piece for The Caron Keating Foundation charity gala at the Royal Albert Hall and in 2014 directed ‘My First Coppelia’ for English National Ballet School.

The Masterclasses
7 to 10 years old
- Limited to 40 attendees.
- The Masterclass is equivalent to RAD’s Grade 1– Grade 4 and it is open to student dancers between the ages 7y to 10y old.
- Age: 7-10 years
- Date: Friday 1st March
- Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
- Venue: 36 Armenian Street
Intermediate Ballet
- Limited to 25 attendees.
- Equivalent to RAD’s Intermediate Foundation – Advanced levels, and is open to student dancers between the ages 12 and above .
- Age: 12+ years
- Date: Friday 1st March
- Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
- Venue: 36 Armenian Street
7 to 8 years old
- Limited to 25 attendees.
- The Masterclass is equivalent to RAD’s Primary – Grade 2 l and it is open to students dancers between the ages 7y to 8y old
- Age: 7-8 years
- Date: Saturday 2nd March
- Time: 9:00am to 11:30am
- Venue: 36 Armenian Street
9 to 12 years old
- Limited to 25 attendees.
- The Masterclass is equivalent to RAD’s Grade 3 – Grade 6 level, l and it is open to students dancers between the ages 9y and 12y old.
- Age: 9-12 years
- Date: Saturday 2nd March
- Time: 12:00pm to 2:00pm
- Venue: 36 Armenian Street
13+ years
- Limited to 25 attendees.
- Equivalent to RAD’s Intermediate Foundation – Advance Level l and is open to students dancers aged 13 to 20 years old.
- Age: 13+ years
- Date: Saturday 2nd March
- Time: 3:00pm to 6:00pm
- Venue: 36 Armenian Street
Adult Ballet
- Limited to 30 attendees
- The Masterclass is the equivalent to RAD’s Beginners – Advance level and is open to students aged 16+
- Age: 16+ years

Boys Ballet 11+ years
- Limited to 25 attendees.
- The Masterclass is equivalent to RAD’s Grade 4– Advance level, and it is open to students dancers between the ages 11y and above

Teacher Training
- How to teach Pirouettes and Grand Allegro
- Limited to 30 attendees
- Open to Ballet Teachers who would like to expand their knowledge and understanding on how tot improve pirouettes and Allegro work .
